Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life has roots in skilled craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time transform into an emotional catalyst, driving him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his craft into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notable among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center of Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not merely an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors reflecting our society: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the comparison to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is an artisanal piece, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely handmade work.
It is advised not to expose to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, without detergents.
