Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality between the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chrome plating.
The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always guarded. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notable among these are appearances at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signatory figure of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has released the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly within the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade artwork, conceived and entirely produced in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of completely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean it without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
