Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and electroplating.
The turning point in his life came with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time became an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been “just” an excellence technique thus became the means to give life to modern pop sculptures that are vibrant and ironic. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

Title - Tomato Splat

At the back of the sculpture there is a convenient hook for hanging it on the wall.

The work will be carefully packed and shipped with a tracking courier.
In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notably, it has appeared at the Contemporary Art Exhibition “Arte Venezia” in 2025, in collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and his works have been included in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to a signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.

Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society reflects itself: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.

Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.

The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted piece, conceived and entirely made in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of fully manual workmanship.
Please avoid heat sources; clean with only a soft cloth, without detergents.
