Capodimonte - Lidded vase - Porcelain - Italy 1947

Attractive mid-20th-century Italian Capodimonte porcelain lidded vase. White body with gilt accents, scrolled handles, fluted neck and foot, and a hexagonal base. The central section features a colourful high-relief scene of putti/cherubs playing in a pastoral landscape with flowers, foliage and a bird.

Marked on the base with the blue crowned shield “R. CAPODIMONTE” (G B) and handwritten “1947 ITALY”.

!!! Heavily restored in multiple places (visible cracks and repairs, particularly to the base and foot). !!!
