Description from the seller
Omega Seamaster Automatic Cal. 552 - 18K Rose Gold - Just Serviced (2026)
Vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic wristwatch from the 1960s, in excellent aesthetic condition and mechanically perfect.
The watch has just undergone a complete and professional (documented) overhaul. It runs impeccably, as shown by the timegrapher test, which highlights exceptional parameters for a vintage timepiece: a deviation of only +1 second per day and an amplitude of 278°.
Movement: Mechanical automatic, Omega manufacture, famous and reliable Caliber 552 with 24 jewels.
Dial: Original argenté with soleil finish, applied geometric indices and a raised Omega logo. Graphics and inscriptions are sharp.
Case: Solid 18k rose gold case (hallmarks visible on the lugs). Classic diameter of the era (about 34-35 mm excluding the crown).
Crystal: Plexiglass in excellent condition.
Strap/Bracelet: Vintage gold-plated flexible bracelet (extendable), period-correct but not Omega original. This model originally came with a leather strap and pin buckle. The current bracelet is included as an accessory.
The watch is accompanied by the timekeeping test receipt from the timegrapher and a 12-month warranty certificate issued by the watch laboratory after the revision performed in July 2026.
Note for buyers: The watch has just been retrieved from full service on July 26, 2026. The photo of the Caliber 552 mechanical movement was taken by the specialized technician before closing. The inside of the case back was not photographed because the watchmaker forgot to take the shot before sealing the case; I preferred not to reopen it to avoid compromising the seal and the perfect regulation just performed in the workshop.
Note for bidders: The watch has just been collected from a full service on July 26, 2026. The picture of the mechanical Caliber 552 movement was taken by the watchmaker prior to closing. The inner back case was not photographed because the watchmaker forgot to take the picture before sealing the case; I preferred not to have it reopened to avoid compromising the fresh sealing and perfect time regulation just executed in the workshop.
