Orientalist Watercolour – Marcel Blairat (1849-1891) – “The Wadi Boudouaou, Algeria”
Original from the late 19th century, by the renowned French Orientalist painter Marcel Blairat.
The work depicts a lively yet peaceful scene by the water’s edge, featuring several figures in traditional dress (including draped figures) in a shore landscape dotted with trees and palm trees.
