C. M. Keys presents the unique original conceptual artwork “Tic-Tac-Fate” (2026) in mixed media with spray paint and gold leaf on canvas, image 90 × 94 cm (canvas 100 × 104 cm), hand signed on the piece and on the reverse, direct from the Romanian artist in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Artist: C. M. Keys
Title: "Tic-Tac-Fate," 2026. Spray paint, impasto, and gold leaf (schlagmetall) on canvas.
A tic-tac-toe grid rendered in gold and silver leaf against a deep black, textured ground — eight squares filled, X's and O's traced in metal instead of ink. The ninth square holds no symbol, only two gold and silver question marks. The game stops just short of its ending, leaving the final move open.
Beneath the grid, the black surface carries a fine embossed pattern, visible up close and adding quiet depth to what first reads as flat and graphic. The piece works equally well as a striking visual statement and as something to sit with — a small, unresolved moment held permanently in place.
Dimensions: Image size 90 × 94 cm; canvas size 100 × 104 cm, unframed.
Signature: Signed on the reverse.
Edition: Unique, one-of-a-kind original — not a print or reproduction.
Provenance: Direct from the artist's studio. First time offered for sale.
Condition: New, in excellent condition, no restorations, fading, or imperfections.
Shipping: Unframed, shipped rolled in a rigid tube, fully insured and tracked.
