Medsan’s unique 1/1 giclée on wood panel, 40 × 40 cm square format, titled Fallen Star Destroyer (砂漠の帝国艦), signed by hand, 2026, France, Pop Art depiction of a Star Wars Star Destroyer stranded in a desert; excellent condition.
Description from the seller
ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1
With this square-format artwork, Medsan imagines a Star Destroyer, the colossal imperial starship from Star Wars, stranded and fossilized at the heart of a desert of dunes, a forgotten city of a nomadic people.
The treatment adopts the expansive style of concept art and landscape painting: golden late-day light, a graded sky, the vastness of the sands where the ship, planted vertically, becomes a mountain. The giant hull has transformed into a troglodyte village — dwellings carved out, suspended gardens, a temple perched on the command bridge, caravans of camels threading along the slopes. A discreet cartouche メドサン signs the work.
The piece meditates on time and the fall of empires. The galaxy’s most terrifying war machine, silenced, colonized by life and nature, becomes the peaceful setting of a new civilization. Medsan turns the symbol of domination into a poetic relic, the ruin of a future already ancient.
An epic and contemplative piece, ideal for bringing a cinematic and dreamy touch to a contemporary collector’s interior who loves science fiction and concept art.

About the Workshop:
Atelier Joconde is a gathering of artists around a living, plural contemporary creation. Established as a true site of artistic production, the workshop operates both in collective creation and in individual approaches, depending on the projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work influenced by film and realism. By his side, Medsan, oriented toward pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo is engaged in a more instinctive search, blending abstract art, outsider art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, created, and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and a unique identity for each artist.
