With this square-format artwork, Medsan imagines an X-Wing, the famous Rebel fighter from Star Wars, stranded in a lush valley and slowly reclaimed by nature, transformed into a haven of peace.

The treatment unfolds a bright and meticulous landscape painting: snowy mountains, flowering meadows, streams and waterfalls bursting from the fuselage. The ship, covered in moss and ivy, now shelters a small Shinto shrine with its torii, terraced rice paddies grown on the wings, a basin, and monks sitting in meditation in the open cockpit. Cranes fly toward a monolith on the horizon. The cartouche メドサン signs the work.

The piece carries an ecological and spiritual message: the disarmed war machine, absorbed by the living, becomes a place of contemplation and harmony. Medsan opposes the violence of combat with the gentleness of slow time, the time when nature and serenity always reclaim their rights.
