Interesting pair of oils on canvas belonging to the Spanish school of the 20th century, in which two landscapes of wide open views are depicted, articulated by rolling hills, winding paths, small clusters of trees and distant horizons. Both works form a coherent set both in theme and in chromatic and compositional treatment, appearing especially decorative as a pair.

The two compositions show a clear affinity of spirit and pictorial language. In both, the artist adopts an elevated viewpoint that allows sweeping stretches of terrain and creates a sense of depth through the layering of planes, the undulation of the relief and the progressive opening toward the distance. The landscapes evoke a rural setting of a Mediterranean or Castilian character, interpreted with freedom and atmospheric sensitivity.

From a stylistic point of view, the set is within Spanish landscape painting of the 20th century, with a post-impressionist root and certain expressive nuances.
