For sale is a beautiful, authentic glass vase from the postmodern era (ca. 1970–1980)
The slim, well-proportioned body captivates with a radiant red and a velvety-matte finish. This was achieved through the elaborate “Satinato” acid-etching (Acidatura).
An excellent sculptural contrast is created by two freely hand-hot-applied, heart- or fang-shaped handles in deep blue glass, which hug the neck and the base.
Condition:
Absolutely flawless and excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks, and no flea bites. The underside shows a pronounced, rough and unpolished pontil scar, which is considered the most important proof of authenticity for hand-blown art glass.
