French contemporary artist, Léo Varek currently develops a series of pop canvases inspired by street art codes, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental murals, notably in Europe, including a intervention of over 600 m² in Courchevel, France. This journey directly nourishes my current approach, more condensed, but still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped around the world. Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed techniques blending acrylic and aerosol. I work spontaneously to keep a tension in the gesture, strong contrasts and a true vibration of colors.
