"Sardoine, building on her self-taught approach, develops an oeuvre at the crossroads of painting and drawing. She explores a sensitive and memory-based territory, privileging evocation over strict figuration. Her canvases are constructed through a stratified superposition of washes, blending acrylic and oil in a game of matte and metallic finishes. The result is blocks of color that deconstruct traditional perspective, allowing subjects to surface as if 'nested' in the material.
