Description from the seller
Large Orange Hermès resin Apple by XTC.\nApproximately 14 cm in diameter and 17 cm tall, painting, vinyl, varnish.\n\nNumbered /30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.\nThe artwork shipped is not the one in the photo but will be similar and unique.\n\nCareful packing and tracked shipping.\n\nBorn in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has blossomed into a passion that was to be realized.\nXTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.\nHis creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.\nHe expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.\nHe draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.\nAll potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.\nHAND-FINISHED “Sculpture made for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl.”
