Dom Pérignon Millésime – Bacchante Reimagined | Slasky
In this work, Slasky reinterprets the famous “Baccante” by Malkov, merging it with the iconic label of Dom Pérignon Rosé Millésime. The language of academic painting dialogues with one of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary luxury, transforming an allegorical figure devoted to wine and celebration into an image that reflects desire, prestige, and the value attributed to iconic objects.
The bacchante, traditionally tied to Bacchus rituals, raises a bottle of champagne instead of the usual classical attribute, while the monumental label’s background replaces the original pictorial setting. The result is a short circuit between art history, branding, and collecting culture.
