Description
Incandescence is an original diptych artwork exploring the power of movement and light through a female figure deliberately devoid of a face. This choice leaves room for interpretation and highlights the expressiveness of the gesture rather than the model's identity.
The contrast between deep reds, blacks and luminous flesh tones creates a visual tension reinforced by white highlights and a few yellow accents that outline the silhouette. The thick acrylic textures dialogue with the softness of the dry pastel, offering a surface rich in textures and nuances.
The composition is built on two canvases forming a diptych, whose horizontal separation fully contributes to the balance of the piece without interrupting the reading of the figure.
