IMPORTANT MESSAGE: I ship only to selected destinations - Please read the shipping prices carefully.
"The HUG"
It is a simple gesture that comes from within, of welcoming oneself, as a symbol of balance, care and completeness.
A gesture that contains everything, even when the world seems distant.
Each single creation is a unique piece worked by hand with delicacy and feeling.
The sculpture was molded in clay and fired in a professional kiln, subsequently patinated cold.
In the porosity and in the imperfections of the terracotta and the pigments used, lies the beauty of this material.
The shipment will be made with care.
All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Techniques:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended the Academy of Art and Photography. Always seeking inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside,
she rediscovers in the small things the charm of simplicity and reinterprets it through matter, thus enabling an open dialogue with her own unconscious.
For several years she had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village of Etruscan origins.
A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to live in open countryside, so as to be able to focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
