Luca Strati was born in Reggio Calabria in 1981, a student at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, with a penchant for sculpture. His artistic path began early, as the son of the Reggio painter Mario Strati, he developed a passion for drawing and for painting with comic-book and artistic features at a very young age. He attended the International School of Comics in Florence from 1995 to 1997, while continuing his classical artistic studies. He also attended the Florence Academy of Fine Arts.
