Le Yack - Coming Through Slaughter - Hand signed

On the tarmac of an airport, under a deep cloudless blue sky, a brunette woman strides forward, light coat billowing behind her, a slit sheath dress, round sunglasses, a bright red handbag on the crook of her arm. Behind her, a four-engine Air France propeller aircraft, polished aluminum fuselage, cuts against the azure. Semiotically, the scene is all movement and modernity: the long step, the wind-blown coat, the vintage-age airplane composing the glamorous travel iconography of the 1950s-60s. The red of the bag, the only warm intrusion, guides the eye in a composition dominated by the blue of the sky and the silver of the fuselage. Heroic low-angle shot, smooth facture, clear daylight brightness.

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45.
