Centrepiece - Glass

Glass vase with 'Silver Overlay', Venetian (Murano) production, from the 1950s–1960s of the 20th century. Aquamarine-colored glass decorated with refined workmanship depicting a view of Venice with gondolas, lamps, and lagoon architecture, framed by elegant floral motifs and ornamental scrolls. An example of Venetian production in the postwar period, characterized by a high level of craftsmanship and a pleasing decorative effect. It is in good condition with no chips; there are some silver losses due to use, but these do not diminish the vase's value.
