Moët & Chandon – Promotional ashtray in glazed ceramic – France – 1970s
Elegant and sought-after original Moët & Chandon promotional ashtray, the renowned French House founded in 1743 and a symbol of prestigious Champagne. Made in the 1970s in high-quality glazed ceramic, it is a refined design and corporate communication object, today highly appreciated by memorabilia collectors devoted to wine and champagne.
The piece stands out for its distinctive triangular shape with rounded corners, embellished by a rich relief decoration depicting grape clusters and vine leaves that frame the edge. The Moët & Chandon logo, also in relief, completes the ensemble, lending timeless elegance to the object. The warm mustard-gold glaze further enhances the decorations and recalls the tones of the House’s historic labels.
The dimensions are approximately 22 × 20 cm, with a height of 4 cm, characteristics that make it a substantial object with notable presence, perfect both as a furnishing accessory and as a collector’s piece.
The specimen is kept in excellent condition, with normal and very slight signs of age compatible with its age, without any breaks or obvious restorations. An authentic testimony to 1970s advertising design, able to combine functionality, solid craftsmanship, and vintage charm.
An ideal object for collectors of vintage advertising, Moët & Chandon enthusiasts, vintage design lovers, and decorative ceramic aficionados of the 20th century.
