Bernard Bloch - Dish - Earthenware

Large tin-glazed earthenware wall plate from the Bernhard Bloch manufactory (1836-1909), bearing on the back the BB seal as well as the model number 5034.

The hand-painted decoration in brown, gray and bluish tones depicts a medieval castle by the water, set in a mountainous landscape. The plate is surrounded by a wide black enamel border, typical of decorative productions from the late 19th century.

The back retains its original hanging system.

In good condition, an old edge chip has been restored.
