This set of dishes is a classic model from the Italian Ceramic Society (S.C.I.) of Laveno. The blue-printed design, characterized by thorny sprigs and wild cardoon flowers that decorate the irregular border, is part of a famous historic series from the lacustrine manufactory, often identified with Meissen-type decorations, produced from the early decades of the twentieth century.
The set consists of 6 plates:
3 flat plates measuring about 26 cm
3 soup plates measuring about 26 cm
Excellent condition, little or no use.

Questo set di piatti è un classico modello della Società Ceramica Italiana (S.C.I.) di Laveno. Il disegno stampato in blu, caratterizzato da rametti spinosi e fiori di cardo selvatico che decorano il bordo mistilineo, fa parte di una celebre serie storica della manifattura lacustre, spesso identificata con i decori di tipo Meissen, prodotte a partire dai primi decenni del Novecento.
