GIOVANNI GRECO was born in Catania, a city where he lives and works. After unfinished studies in biology and further explorations of artistic studies, he enrolled at the Scuola del Nudi in Catania and in 1980 began his painting career, starting simultaneously from the Magrittean example and subsequently De Chirico, where it was possible to resolve two seemingly contradictory layers, dream and objective reality, in a sort of absolute reality.
