Good condition of the binding, the work in its full binding with the golden globe of the first type, called “Au bandeau noir,” a nice front board, wear from use, some minor defects on the cover, nicks on the headcaps, cracks at the hinges, gilt edges, smooth ornate spine, titling and author’s name gilded, black-ruled borders framing the second board with a black motif at the center -
