This work in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a broad, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.

In the light the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, structure and depth change; individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, lingering.

Frequency BLUE STEEL — Sculpture of light, structure & presence

Frequency BLUE STEEL is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Artwork details:

Title: Frequency BLUE STEEL
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm

Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with different spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.

Frame: Wide stretcher frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
