In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, the texture and depth change, individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises as you walk, stand, or linger.

Frequency GOLD ON NAVY is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: Frequency GOLD ON NAVY
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only high-quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide support frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Schwarzer decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully showcase the color play and to give the works a living presence.
