Filled vintage wooden sewing chest from the 1960s – harmonica-style}

Charming and practical wooden sewing chest from the 1960s, equipped with the characteristic fold-out harmonica system. A atmospheric household item from a time when sewing, mending and handicrafts had a fixed place in the home.

The chest is made from warm-colored wood and features multiple layers and separate compartments. Due to the hinged wooden arms, the compartments open stepwise to both sides. This creates an immediately clear workspace for thread, needles, pins, buttons and other notions.

The sturdy carrying handle makes the chest easy to move. The two top lids are fitted with small wooden knobs and close the ensemble neatly. The subtle brass-colored fittings form a beautiful detail against the warm wood tone.

This sewing chest is offered with an extensive vintage contents, including various types of:

Condition

The sewing chest is in good vintage condition with signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. Locally there are light scratches, discolorations and small spots visible. The fold-out construction functions and the chest presents well.

The vintage contents are used and may be incomplete. Not every spool or card will still be fully filled. Everything is included as shown.
