Ancient Arabic manuscript, written by Muhammad Sadegh Majnoun Khansari, a calligrapher originally from Khansar, active in the 11th century AH.

Dated 1088 AH, about 1677 CE. The text is written in Nastaliq, with ruling work and gilded framing on the pages. The handmade old paper is now very thin, fragile and sensitive due to its age.

The final part of the manuscript is incomplete: several leaves are missing. The work therefore requires specialized restoration and conservation.

An ancient and rare item, of historical, religious, and calligraphic interest, bearing witness to the art of Persian manuscript illumination of the Safavid period.

Manuscrit arab ancien, ecrit par Muhammad Sadegh Majnoun Khansari, calligraphe originaire de Khansar, actif au XIᵉ siècle de l’Hégire.

 Datée de 1088 de l’Hégire, soit environ 1677 de notre ère. Le texte est écrit en nastaliq, avec un travail de réglure et d’encadrement doré sur les pages. Le papier ancien, fait à la main, est aujourd’hui très fin, fragile et sensible en raison de son ancienneté.

La partie finale du manuscrit est incomplète : plusieurs feuillets manquent. L’ouvrage nécessite donc une restauration et une conservation spécialisées.

Une pièce ancienne et rare, présentant un intérêt à la fois historique, religieux et calligraphique, témoignant de l’art du manuscrit persan de la période safavide.
