Ben - French Traffic Sign is an original artwork by Jinks Kunst from the B.BOY series, dated 2026, executed in pochoir and spray paint on an authentic triangular French traffic sign, hand-signed, 42 x 48 cm, 1200 g, in excellent condition, sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
This work is the second piece in the “B.BOY” series, created on an authentic French triangular road-sign panel (“Dos d'Âne” / speed bump). As with the first piece, the recovered material brings its own authenticity and history to each panel.
The defacement/redistribution of the pictogram is striking here: the black bump of the speed bump serves as a base for a B.Boy in full action. The character, rendered with multi-layer stencil precision, is depicted crouched in a balanced stance, ready to leap. He wears a textured purple hooded jacket, a cap, and red shoes, details that add dynamism to his figure. His arms are covered with intricate, colorful motifs, evoking tattoos or graffiti textures.
In the background, a 3D graffiti lettering bursts forth, featuring the pseudonym JINKS. This graffiti, traced in blue and purple, creates a strong contrast with the central figure while reinforcing the piece's hip-hop identity. The panel itself is speckled with fine splashes of yellow paint, as if the energy of the graffiti were bursting out.
This work demonstrates Jinks Kunst's mastery of stencils and his ability to transform everyday objects into vibrant artworks, while celebrating hip-hop culture and the movement.
