Description of the Work
“Domes of Light No. 11” belongs to the Domes of Light collection, a series inspired by the transformative power of light emerging from the depths of the ocean.
In this work, the intense ocean blues merge with soft luminous glazes enveloping a background full of movement and depth. In the lower part appear delicate nuances in coral tones, violets and turquoise that evoke the richness of an underwater world illuminated by light, contributing a unique chromatic vibrancy without losing the serenity that characterizes the collection.
The hand-crafted textures and reliefs, made entirely by hand, respond differently depending on lighting and viewpoint, causing the work to subtly change throughout the day.
Rather than depicting a specific landscape, Domes of Light No. 11 invites contemplation of the ocean as an inner space, where calm, depth and light dialogue to create a unique emotional experience.
