Description from the seller
“Frida’s Blooming World” is part of my series dedicated to balloons, symbols of inner worlds that safeguard emotions, dreams and identities.
In this work the iconic figure of Frida Kahlo is immersed in a rich arrangement of flowers and tropical leaves, enclosed inside a large transparent balloon. The balloon represents a protected space, a personal universe where strength, creativity and nature coexist in perfect balance.
The intense and luminous colors, the essential shapes and the contemporary pop language give life to an image full of energy and positivity, maintaining a graphic style that is instantly recognizable.
Realized entirely by hand with acrylic paints on canvas, this work is a unique piece that blends contemporary art, culture and imagination, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover the world contained within the balloon.
