Painted with acrylics, pastels, and acrylic ink on sturdy artist paper, repeatedly sealed with varnish.
The back bears my artist stamp, is dated, and signed again.

The painting has been sealed multiple times with varnish to protect colors and details optimally.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today, my works almost exclusively come to life on paper. This more compact, calmer working method aligns not only with my creative process but also serves as a response to health challenges. It suits my daily life and gives me space to focus wholly on the subject.

My works often arise in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a little story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Perhaps one of them speaks to you.
