This exceptional Loewe Madrid vintage backpack, made from monogram canvas with black leather details and gold-tone hardware, is in very good overall condition considering its age and use.
Overall condition
The piece maintains its firm structure and original proportions, with no deformities or sags. The exterior canvas preserves the characteristic Loewe anagram pattern clearly defined, with no discolorations or areas of significant wear. The surface shows only light signs of superficial use consistent with its age.
Leather and stitching
The black calfskin sections —strap, flap, reinforcements, and piping— are in very good condition, with a satin sheen and a uniform natural patina, without cracks or detachment.
Stitches are intact and well taut, with no loose threads or visible repairs, demonstrating Loewe’s excellent artisanal quality.
Hardware and closures
The golden metal elements, including the front buckle, the eyelets engraved with “LOEWE,” and the lower joints with decorative reliefs, retain their original shine. They show minor rubbing marks and micro-scratches due to use and time, but no loss of finish or rust.
