Sylvain Sauvage - Nature forêt

A watercolor depicting the French countryside, a forest scene, dated 1916 during the First World War, and signed Sylvain Sauvage, whose real name is Félix Roy (1888–1948). He is a famous painter who exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and was the director of the Estiennes School; he illustrated numerous works.
