Caroline Perkins is a British contemporary abstract artist based in Hampshire. Guided by colour, texture and gesture, their practice draws on the geography of natural and internal landscapes. Layered forms and striated surfaces connect the physical forces of place with emotional experience.
Working primarily with acrylic, graphite and mixed media, Unity combines expressive mark-making with tonal harmony to evoke movement, endurance and the quiet intensity of the natural world.
Pressure from Above
Unity received her MA in painting from the Royal College of Art they have exhibited throughout the United Kingdom, including at Soho Revue, The Base Greenham, Chapel Art Studio, and the Truman Brewery they won a bursary from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and has been featured in the magazine Collect Art issue 108
