Red Overlap examines the effect of color as a fleeting, ever-changing phenomenon. Two overlapping circle shapes enter into a quiet dialogue and create a space of encounter where form, light, and perception flow into one another.
The surface consists of a hovering, iridescent layer of color that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle and the incident light. At times it appears almost white and immaterial, then a delicate red emerges that softly drapes over the circle shapes. The work resists a fixed coloration and reveals its effect only in the movement of the viewer and in the changing natural light.
The overlap of the two circles becomes a symbol of encounter, transparency, and change. Red Overlap invites us to conceive color not as a static element, but as a living manifestation that oscillates between visibility and dissolution.

The canvas is 100% cotton.
