Kofi - Achantis - Ghana (No reserve price)

A collection of 40 very thin disc beads on a very small size, used by young Ghanaian women on their hips during dances. These so-called "kofi`s" made a nice rattling sound when dancing. Originally these disc beads were made in Bohemia in the 1960-70`s. They were very popular in Ghana at that time. Sizes vary between 3 and 4 mm. in width. Lenght of the ropes is between 90 and 100 cm. This very tiny size is very rare to find.
