Two objects: a brass and wood sun dial compass in a wooden case dating to 2000–2010, in antique-inspired style, in excellent condition, with the compass measuring 10 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter when open, and the wooden case 12.5 x 12.5 x 5 cm with green felt lining.

Are you looking for a unique centerpiece for interiors, on your desk, or in the bookcase? This splendid, classical sundial compass is crafted from heavy brass and comes in a matching wooden storage box with luxurious green felt lining.
Engraved in the brass on the sundial is "Gilbert & Sons London".
Inside the lid there is a copper plaque with the historical “Equation of Time” table (Should be faster than the dial / slow / slower), used to calculate the difference between solar time and clock time.
Equipped with adjustment screws and a folding degree arc/u-ring marked with Roman numerals.
This sundial compass has an integrated compass with a handsome nameplate that again refers to Gilbert & Sons London (1895).
The wooden box features a beautiful warm grain, brass clasps, and protects the compass perfectly.
