An exquisite set of three antique Chinese export porcelain plates is offered, hand-painted in the refined Famille Rose palette. The plates date from the 18th century (Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, ca. 1750). The central decoration depicts a classic and idyllic Chinese river landscape with traditional pagodas, lush trees, and mountains in the background. The rims are elegantly decorated with a detailed floral band in polychrome enamels. The color usage is beautifully vibrant with the characteristic pink and green tones. A splendid ensemble for the collector of fine Asian porcelain.
