collection lot dedicated to Chinese theatre. consists of 3 articulated marionette figures, from shadow theatre. Composed of several interlocking pieces. Hand-painted with traditional pigments.
3 masks from the Pekin Opera Lianpu. The miniature masks depict the classic characters with makeup of Chinese opera. enriched with horsehair inserts for beards and hair that make the faces more realistic.
The heights vary: the marionette figures are about 30 cm tall, while the masks are about 8 cm tall excluding the beards. Everything is shipped individually packed, then placed in a single box.
