Description from the seller
This unique work is created on an authentic old French road sign panel, 50 cm in diameter, transformed into an artistic support.
It features BOB, one of the emblematic characters from Jinks Kunst's universe. Inspired by hip-hop culture and B-Boys, he embodies the freedom, audacity, and energy characteristic of the street art movement.
The subversion of the road sign also reverses its original message: an object designed to impose rules becomes a medium for artistic expression. This contrast between a symbol of authority and an urban character gives rise to a piece where public space is reinterpreted with humor and creativity.
Made using hand-cut stencils and spray paint, this creation stands out for the finesse of its superimpositions, its paint projections, and its starry background, which enhance its contemporary urban aesthetic.
Each diverted sign carries its own history, its signs of time and its story, making each piece unique at the crossroads of street art, design, and the collectible object.
