Peter Brouwer painted in the manner of Jan Bevort with a palette knife and is certainly strongly influenced by Bevort. As with G.J. Ernens as well. All three produced works in the same style and often the same subjects. Peter Brouwer occasionally had somewhat more expressive works with a lot of paint and bright tones. This work is one of them.
All three were members of ‘The International Organisation of Fine Art’ and they are all internationally collected as well.
