Stunning Agate Snuff Bottle "Shadow" from the Qing Era.
Fine Chinese snuff bottle in natural agate from the Qing dynasty, crafted with the refined "shadow agate" technique. The cut was done with great mastery to follow the stone's natural veining, revealing two different images on the two sides: on one side a dark silhouette stands out clearly against the light background, on the other the veining opens into warmer amber and golden hues, with different transparency effects.
Body with a rounded, elegant shape, featuring excellent hollowing: thin, regular walls that enhance the stone's translucency.

Pregevole snuff bottle cinese in agata naturale dell'epoca Qing, lavorata con la raffinata tecnica "shadow agate". Il taglio è stato eseguito con grande maestria per seguire le venature naturali della pietra, rivelando due immagini diverse sui due lati: da un lato una silhouette scura si staglia nitida sul fondo chiaro, dall'altro le venature si aprono in sfumature più ambrate e dorate, con effetti di trasparenza differenti.
Corpo dalla forma tondeggiante ed elegante, con svuotamento (hollowing) eccellente: pareti sottili e regolari che esaltano la trasparenza della pietra.
