For auction comes a rare and iconic vintage art ceramic vase from the renowned Wächtersbacher Steinzeug factory from the 1950s. This striking collectible features the famous abstract décor “Ulla,” designed in 1956 by pioneering ceramic designer Ursula Fesca (1900–1975). The design is an outstanding example of the Mid-Century Modern style (Fifties / Rockabilly) and captivates with its dynamic, multicolored brushstrokes in black, red, yellow, and blue on a characteristic matte-mottled light background.

Décor: Ulla (Design: Ursula Fesca, 1956)
Base mark: Fully stamped with the classic Wächtersbacher shield hallmark (with crown), the inscription “Made in West Germany,” and the handwritten decor name “Ulla” under the glaze.
Condition: Good to very good, age-appropriate vintage condition. No chips or hairlines. Minor wear to the base and upper rim is visible. Typical fine age-related crazing in the glaze, which underscores the authentic character.
