Large Rococo Revival wall lamp with putto – 3-light – brass – pink flower glass shades
Object description
Impressive and richly appointed three-armed Rococo Revival wall lamp from the period circa 1890–1915, made of heavy cast brass and featuring a beautifully modeled winged putto as the central decorative element.
The elegantly shaped arms lead out to three graceful light fittings, each fitted with matching satin-finish pink flower-shaped glass shades. The combination of warm brass, exuberant rocaille ornamentation, and the characteristic floral blossoms gives this wall lamp a particularly decorative and authentic appearance.
The wall plate, the arms, and the ornaments are richly adorned with classic Louis XV ornamentation featuring acanthus leaves, rocaille, and floral details. The finely worked putto forms the focal point of the piece and underlines its high-quality decorative character.
The lamp is in good used condition with normal, age-appropriate signs of wear. The three glass flower shades form a matching set and fit perfectly with the fixture.
