Lasveguix presents Marilyn Playboy, a multicoloured collage artwork on canvas (50 × 50 cm), original edition created in France in 2026.
Description from the seller
Original artwork on canvas on stretcher, 50x50 cm, posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca.
Original and unique work, straight from the studio. Shipped protected and quickly.
Ready to hang on the wall
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic talks to spray paint and Posca. Each piece is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture one finds the echo of the great names who marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn-poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for engaged icon.
Active in the street art scene for over twenty years, Lasveguix has managed to impose an universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Renowned for his uniqueness, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at the Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His creations reach record amounts there, confirming a singular place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates accessible, free, and vibrant art, where each torn fragment tells a story of love and positivity.
