Daum France – Heavy Crystal Sculptural Vase, c.1960s–1970s
A striking and highly sculptural heavy crystal vase by the renowned French glassmaker Daum, dating to approximately the 1960s–1970s. Executed in thick, flawlessly clear crystal, the elegant organic form demonstrates the refined modernist design language for which Daum became internationally celebrated during the mid-20th century. The vase features beautifully flowing asymmetrical lines and substantial weight, allowing the exceptional clarity and light-refracting qualities of the crystal to take centre stage.
The base bears the acid-etched "Daum France" signature, confirming authenticity. Presented in very good vintage condition with only light age-related wear to the underside, consistent with careful use over the decades. No chips, cracks or restorations.
