Description from the seller

Baptism goblet from the era in solid 950/1000 silver and vermeil by the great Parisian silversmith house OLIER & CARON (Paris, active 1910–1936) — Signature engraved in full letters "OLLIER & CARON" at the neck and a master mark in a lozenge (initials O & C) clearly present.

Solid silver with control mark (State guarantee mark, Minerva Head, 1st Title 950/1000).

Interior finish: original vermeil (pure gold layer over silver) beautifully preserved.

Decoration: highly chased relief frieze depicting an oak sprig (leaves and acorns). Front adorned with an elegant intertwined monogram of the period (SM / MS).

Dimensions: Height: 7.5 cm | Col diameter: 7.5 cm (flared model).

Very good vintage condition. Inner vermeil gilding very bright, outer silvering superb and the relief decorations very sharp. No major dent.
