Description from the seller
Blue Paradise — Where the ocean brings us back to what matters
There are landscapes that you don’t just look at. You feel them.
Blue Paradise transports us above a shoreline where deep turquoise hues meet the softness of the sand. The waves unfold in white lace, drawing a movement that is both powerful and delicate.
At the foot of this vastness, two tiny silhouettes remind us of our place in nature. A suspended moment that evokes freedom, escape, and that very special sensation of feeling infinitesimally small in the face of the world’s beauty.
More than a marine landscape, this work is an invitation to slow down, to breathe, and to rediscover that peace that the ocean provides.
### From lived landscapes to imagined landscapes
Originally from Guyana and living in the south of France, Aurélie Lafourcade nourishes her artistic universe with her deep attachment to nature, to wide open spaces, and to the sea.
Originating from the graphic arts, she combines photography, digital creation, and the play of light to compose landscapes where reality and imagination meet.
Through her creations, she does not merely seek to represent a place, but to convey an emotion: that of a travel memory, a moment of freedom, or a landscape in which everyone can find a part of their own
